On Saturday at La Doline, 168 guests attended the anniversary celebration of the Sport pour Tous club’s 50th year. The club was established on October 13, 1976. At that time, activities consisted of family walks on foot or by bicycle, ski outings to Brameloup, basketball, and a memorable first women’s soccer game between “single” and “married” women! Since then, the club has evolved significantly and now offers various disciplines such as hiking, stretching, gentle gym, yoga, qi gong, cardio fitness, children’s body awareness, and plans to introduce pilates sessions for the fall. The event allowed former club members and current practitioners to reconnect over drinks and a buffet. Excitement and hugs marked the start of the evening. The dinner progressed with a royal menu prepared by the Bastide brothers. Conversations flowed, and the atmosphere was warm. At the end of the meal, president Évelyne Pagès and Bernard Falgayrat revisited the club’s history. A bouquet was presented to the president, as the cake was served. Élisabeth Sauveplane, vice-president of the hiking departmental committee (CDRP), as well as the department’s salaried secretary for the Sports Pour Tous federation (gym), spoke. Pauline Bousquet apologized for Michel Arnal, the new mayor. The evening continued with lively music until late into the night. A very festive atmosphere! A big thank you to the president and participating members for their active help in making this a successful evening.
