In a few days, the Quillan Trail will establish itself as one of the major sports events in the region.
Around 3,000 participants from different departments will come together to challenge the famous 3 Quilles, the emblem of the territory, in what promises to be an exceptional competition combining performance, self-transcendence, and conviviality.
As part of the 2026 edition of the Trail organized by the Foulée des 3 Quilles, a unique event will be dedicated to the P’Tit Tignous, with organizers aiming to introduce them to the joys of running in a playful and accessible atmosphere.
On Saturday, April 25th, the Super Heroes race will kick off, a highly anticipated event that continues to grow in enthusiasm and participation every year. This event, particularly popular with families, promises once again a festive and colorful moment. Registration is set at 2€ per child at the municipal gymnasium starting from 1:30 pm. The race is open to children aged 3 to 15 years old. Any “light” costume (not hindering running) is welcome, but not mandatory.
The race will start at 2:30 pm, with four courses tailored to different age groups: 3-6 years old, 600m; 7-9 years old, 1km; 10-12 years old, 1.5km; 13-15 years old, 3km. A parental authorization is required, and each child must be accompanied by a parent.
Prizes will be given to each young participant, as well as rewards for the best in each category. At 3:30 pm, a friendly snack will conclude the race. It is worth noting that this children’s event remains unofficial: it takes place without a stopwatch or bib, in a recreational spirit.
On Sunday, April 26th, it will be the turn of trail runners, with four courses tailored to all levels, as well as a hike dedicated to walkers. An ideal opportunity to combine sports and nature discovery, amidst breathtaking landscapes on carefully maintained trails.
