Billy Bob Thornton, known for his roles in movies like Fargo and the series Landman, recently opened up about his struggles in a podcast interview with Howie Mandel Does Stuff. The 70-year-old American actor revealed his numerous food allergies, including wheat and dairy. He also shared that he has a very rare blood type, AB negative, which he believes contributes to his digestive issues.
Born and raised in Arkansas and Texas, Thornton talked about growing up with daily pains without realizing something was wrong. He discovered his allergies and changed his diet drastically to avoid certain foods like dairy, wheat, pork, and beef. Despite these restrictions, he tries to find pleasure in his food choices.
During a recent event related to the Landman series, Thornton surprised himself by enjoying a unique combination of grapes and spicy mustard. This unexpected culinary discovery reminded him of his unconventional past, like the time he and Angelina Jolie wore vials of each other’s blood around their necks. With his rare blood type still intriguing people today, Thornton continues to surprise in more ways than one.
