During a Weverse live broadcast on May 20, BTS members gathered around a meal in a hotel room in a relaxed atmosphere. RM, Jimin, J-Hope, and Taehyung freely shared about their daily lives and experiences on international tours.

However, as the discussion progressed, a more serious topic emerged touching on the relationship between celebrity and privacy.

Taehyung spoke about the often difficult reality of constantly being filmed or followed when in public places. According to him, this constant exposure ends up limiting his outings and sometimes prevents him from simply enjoying moments of relaxation outside of music.

He expressed his desire to be able to engage in ordinary activities, such as playing pickleball, without attracting attention or being photographed.

Segments from the live broadcast quickly spread on social media, sparking numerous reactions among ARMY. Many fans stressed the importance of respecting the boundaries of artists and their right to preserve their privacy.

Several internet users also pointed out that a simple appearance by Taehyung in a public place often turns it into a gathering spot, making any discretion impossible during future visits.

Beyond social media, BTS members regularly face intrusions into their private lives, particularly through unwanted paparazzi or crowds.

According to information exchanged within the group, their team sometimes advises them to stay in the hotel to avoid crowds. Taehyung expressed his wish to simply enjoy his trips and travels without constantly being photographed or followed.

This is not the first time the issue of BTS members’ privacy has been at the center of discussions. During previous trips, especially in Japan during their tour, some members were photographed in moments considered personal, sparking strong criticism against certain media outlets.

For some fans, these situations reflect an increasingly blurred line between the public and private lives of idols, fueled by constant curiosity around the group.

Despite these debates, BTS continues its international activities. The group is expected to perform soon at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise (Nevada) for a new date of their world tour scheduled for May 23, 2026.
