It is in Bangkok that this final battle will take place. Between golden temples, lively markets, iconic canals, and modern skyscrapers, the Thai capital offers a setting as fascinating as it is chaotic for this final race.
The candidates will cross several iconic locations in the city, in an electrifying atmosphere where every minute counts.
The formidable “Time is Money” rule
This final will be based on a mechanic that has become iconic in Pékin Express: the “Time is Money.”
The finalists will have to compete in three intermediate sprints to accumulate a maximum of money up to 100,000 euros. However, the pressure will be constant: as soon as a team crosses the finish line, they will trigger a beacon that makes their opponents lose 10 euros per second.
In this race against time, every moment lost could be extremely costly.
Once the three sprints are over, the teams’ winnings will be set. Then comes the grand final sprint: the winning duo will leave with their winnings and the highly coveted title of champion of this 22nd season.
Spectacular missions to challenge the finalists
To hope to win, the candidates will also have to face several particularly challenging challenges.
