With perfect hair, makeup, and smile, the former correspondent for the MBC channel in the occupied Palestinian territories looks like she just stepped off a TV set. As she pours herself a cup of tea, she reflects: “I was tired of reporting bad news, I want to tell the beauty of Palestine, so I turned to cinema.” After studying audiovisual and film production in Moscow and Cardiff, she released the remarkable documentary Gazagrad last year.
