She wrote, “Mike Stone, my brother, has passed away from a long illness. We wish him peace,” along with a photo of him. In this difficult time, the actress of Basic Instinct has the support of her loved ones, especially her sister Kelly, with whom she founded the organization Planet Hope.
Sharon Stone’s brother Michael had a career in film, making his screen debut in 1990 in End of the Night. He later appeared in Mort ou vif with his sister Sharon Stone, as well as other films and TV series. In his personal life, he was briefly engaged to British socialite Tamara Beckwith.
Before Michael, Sharon Stone had also lost her younger brother Patrick to a heart attack three years prior. The actress had shared the sad news on her Instagram, thanking everyone for their love and support. Patrick’s widow Tasha Stone also expressed her grief on social media, referencing their son who had passed away seventeen months earlier from organ failure.
