Nikos Aliagas, a symbolic figure of French television, is known for hosting iconic shows like Star Academy and The Voice on TF1. But behind this celebrity, he leads a stable family life deeply rooted around his partner, Tina Grigoriou, the mother of their two children, Agathe (born in 2012) and Andreas (born in 2016).
The couple met in the early 2010s. The host himself recounted their first meeting: “We recognized each other from the very first handshake, and the first thing that came out of my mouth was: ‘Why don’t you have any children?’.”
Tina Grigoriou, Nikos Aliagas’s psychologist wife, has built a professional career in psychology away from the limelight. A psychology graduate with rigorous training in the UK, she is specialized in anxiety disorders, depression, panic attacks, as well as eating and sexual disorders.
Having spent a significant part of her career in London, Tina Grigoriou opened her own practice in an upscale neighborhood. She has also worked within the UK’s National Health Service before focusing on her private practice. Through her professional website and workshops, she promotes alternative approaches like dance therapy and movement therapy, as well as transformative retreats focused on well-being and freedom of movement.
Even though Tina Grigoriou sometimes accompanies Nikos Aliagas to red carpets — such as at the Elie Saab fashion show during Paris Fashion Week in 2025 — she remains very discreet and distant from the media world. Nikos Aliagas shared, “She makes me feel good, she repairs me, in my fears, in my doubts. She is a strong woman, a brilliant woman, and I believe she keeps a good distance from all of that, and I need that. We don’t see her often, she doesn’t like to show herself, and she’s right,” on TMC.
While the lovely family resides in Paris, they can recharge in Fontenay-sous-Bois in Val-de-Marne, in a family home where Nikos Aliagas’s mother also lives. His father, Andreas, passed away on May 9, 2017.
