Come and celebrate the new Music Festival on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at the Italian Cultural Center in Paris. The program? A free Neapolitan concert by the Cantanapoli choir!

Music lovers, this event is for you! The Italian Cultural Center invites you to come and enjoy the enchanting melodies of Naples on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at the new edition of the Music Festival in Paris. A free concert, a dive into Italian culture, and a beautiful moment ahead: what more could you ask for?

Located on Priest Street Saint-Severin, in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, the Italian Cultural Center is a non-profit cultural association founded in 1979. Its mission? To promote and disseminate Italian language and culture in France as well as French language and culture in Italy. Every year, the Italian Cultural Center offers numerous courses, as well as various events.

For the 2026 Music Festival, the Italian Cultural Center invites you to join them on Sunday, June 21, for a free Neapolitan concert by the Cantanapoli choir! The program includes a repertoire of Neapolitan songs from the 13th to the 20th centuries, not to be missed in front of the Italian Cultural Center starting at 7 pm.

A reminder, the Music Festival was created in 1982 at the initiative of the Ministry of Culture. This year, the Ministry of Culture’s studies and research department is conducting a major survey on the cultural practices of the French. It is discovered that five million people, including one in two young people, play a musical instrument. Therefore, Jack Lang, Christian Dupavillon, architect-scenographer, a member of his Cabinet, and Maurice Fleuret imagine a large popular event with the goal of allowing all musicians to express themselves and become known. The very first Music Festival was launched on June 21, 1982, a symbolic day of the summer solstice.
