The 2026 program of the classical music festival Ma Vigne en Musique has been announced. The editorial team of L’Indépendant explains everything you need to know about the first dates of this cultural event, featuring concerts at several well-known wine locations in Languedoc.

Associating classical music with iconic locations in Narbonne. That is the known concept of this artistic event, which will celebrate its tenth edition this year.

The Ma vigne en musique festival will begin on Saturday, May 23 with an outdoor opening concert at 6:00 PM at the magnificent setting of Château de Bugadelles located between Fleury-d’Aude and Saint-Pierre-la-Mer. The program at this venue will include Vivaldi’s Four Seasons by the Toulouse chamber orchestra, as well as Nicolas Bacri’s Concerto lirico for clarinet and orchestra, including a world premiere piece, the first commission of the festival in terms of live music, detailed by Cyril Guillotin, the event director.

The first evening will end with Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A major with the presence of renowned clarinetist Pierre Génisson. This concert will be in partnership with Rotary e-club Occitanie Atlas, aiming to raise donations for the defense of children. Following the aid to victims of the 2025 fires, the festival’s management continues its commitment to causes that are close to its heart.

The second date of the 2026 edition will take place on Friday, June 12 at Domaine Catherine de Montgolfier in Narbonne with a “Classico tango” evening. This event will merge musical repertoire and narration with melodies by Robert Schumann and love letters from Robert and Clara Schumann for an immersive and warm experience with Karine Deshayes, one of the world’s greatest international mezzo-sopranos. Works will dialogue with words, rhythms will interlace, and music will tell stories full of passion and sensitivity, presented by Cyril Guillotin. Karine Deshayes will be accompanied by Radio Classique journalist and storyteller Jean-Michel Dhuez, Johan Farjot on piano, Rémi Poulakis on accordion, and Lucas Holguin on double bass.

Note that this year, shuttles will depart and return to Narbonne to transport audiences to the concert venues. More information can be found on the Festival Ma vigne en musique’s Facebook page.
