The rain, announced by the weather, may come to disrupt things this Sunday. But at least the fifth edition of Nancy Sound City delighted its audience this Saturday, thanks to the summer weather. Organized by the Kontakt Production association, at the foot of the Pépinière auditorium, this biergarten-style event (a German concept of partying around beer) indeed provided a great deal of good music, with several DJs at the turntables, glasses of foam and wine (to be consumed in moderation), and activities for the younger ones. In addition to graffiti workshops, it was also possible to discover the basics of DJ mixing and play as apprentice DJs with Dionysa. This young association based in Laxou focuses on electronic music, especially for women and young people. Still on the music theme, but with a DIY twist, there’s La Boîte à Caillons: the popular education association allows you to make musical instruments using recycled materials, including plastic bottles, tin cans, and other repurposed objects. All these activities will be back on Sunday from noon to 7 pm. Let’s hope to avoid the raindrops!
