Loïs Brossy is a musician who has been greatly influenced by the collective. He grew up in an environment where music played a central role. Trained at the Conservatoire and the University of Musicology in Saint-Étienne, he quickly developed a comprehensive approach to music. Singing, playing, composing: for him, everything is linked to emotion and exchange.

The local audience first discovered him with the group Let’s Goldman, a tribute to the world of Jean-Jacques Goldman. This defining experience led him to further embrace French songs and writing in French. “I started to be touched by the lyrics as much as the music,” he explains. This artistic evolution will deeply mark his solo project.

Un premier EP comme une libération

With “Good News,” Loïs Brossy takes a significant step. This short format of five tracks and an interlude acts as a musical business card, a concentrate of his pop-rock universe with Anglo-Saxon influences. “I needed it to come out. Music is made to be shared.”

Entirely self-produced, the EP highlights a handmade and authentic approach. Piano recorded at home, real instruments, worked vocal harmonies: Loïs Brossy prioritizes the warmth of sound and the sincerity of arrangements.

Une esthétique joyeuse et organique

Musically, “Good News” fits into an energetic French pop-rock vein, carried by catchy melodies. But behind its optimistic title, the EP also explores deeper emotions.

His influences range from English rock from the 70s to French songs, with particular attention to the lyrics. His ambition is clear: to bring joy back into French music.

La scène comme terrain de jeu

For Loïs Brossy, music only makes sense on stage. Surrounded by his musicians, the Manitous, he already defends his songs in concert. The release party organized in April marked a strong moment in this launch. “When someone tells you that a song touched or changed them, it’s incredible.”

Today, “Good News” is available on all streaming platforms. But for Loïs, this is just the beginning.

Between independence, artistic demands, and a desire to federate, the artist carves his path with a simple conviction: music is above all a story of connection.

And what if this “Good News” was exactly what we were waiting for?
