Viral rumors of divorce between Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco

Rumors of divorce are circulating widely, fueled by viral posts and conspiracy theorists who would be all too happy to see Selena leave Benny, but the reality is far from what is currently being imagined on the web.

The rumor spread like wildfire when a widely shared post on X (formerly Twitter) made people believe it. However, the post came from a parody account, leading to huge confusion online.

From this post, other internet users created images, including artificial intelligence, to make it seem like Selena had written on Instagram that she was indeed single. None of it is true.

Hundreds of fan videos circulate with theories on TikTok, as well as questions under all the posts of the two celebrities.

Furthermore, fans of the Gomez-Bieber couple speculate that Justin’s genuine smile during the second weekend of Coachella would relate to this separation rumor.

At the beginning of April, Selena wrote “Mrs. Blanco” in the caption of an Instagram carousel. This should have silenced doubts about her love for Benny, especially after the controversy over his hygiene, but the internet decided to go wild anyway.
