Marine Lorphelin, a general practitioner, Miss France, and television host at only 33 years old, has lived many lives. The beauty queen, whose younger sister also became Miss, was the guest on the YouTube podcast “Les Lueurs” and opened up about her daily life and her past as Miss France 2013. In January, she had already revealed on the show “Dinner with Sally” that she had experienced a burnout during her “reign”: “At one point, I completely cracked. I was having anxiety attacks due to lack of sleep and excessive stress.”

Her loved ones “were greatly missed” by her

Today, as a general practitioner, Marine Lorphelin is also a sports enthusiast. With her partner Stanislas Gruau, to whom she recently made a big declaration, she explains that she’s completely immersed in it: “What makes me most excited in life is sports,” she affirms, before confirming, “I am extremely athletic.”

More than just physical activity, sports have become a time of sharing with loved ones. Extremely moved when talking about her relationship with her friends, the contributor of “Magazine de la sante” on France 5 broke down in tears: “What makes me happiest is spending time with my loved ones.” With her partner, family, friends, the former Miss France cherishes these moments the most: “Because they were greatly missed by me, in fact, during all these years,” she concludes, her voice choked up.

She has found her happiness

Her partner, Stanislas Gruau, is also a big sports enthusiast and has notably participated in the legendary Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc in 2024. Together, the couple, who share their adventures on social media, see sports as a social vector: “Doing sports, moving, is what allows me to see the world in the end, because when I take on sports challenges, it’s also sometimes to discover the world, nature, and connect with the external elements.”

Behind the glitz and glamour of her life as Miss France, Marine Lorphelin ultimately finds solace in sports, with her family and friends. Now living in Haute-Savoie, she savors every moment spent in the mountains. She had shared her happiness on Instagram last March: “Is this not happiness? Being happy to eat alone in a hospital cafeteria, because nothing can take away the joy of having found my place. Here in Geneva and in Haute-Savoie. In sports medicine.”
