In La Londe-les-Maures, a seaside resort in the Var, the week of May 25 to 31 promises to be rich in events for all audiences.
The City of La Londe-les-Maures offers a dense and varied program for the last week of May 2026, including popular entertainment, cultural events, sports competitions, and citizen initiatives. From the Bormettes celebration to the final of the Var Football Cup, residents and visitors will have plenty of choices.
Parties and family events
The week begins with the last day of the Bormettes Festival, on Monday, May 25, organized by the ESCAL Festival Committee. From 12:30 pm to 9 pm, Place Françoise-Belot will come alive with rides, entertainment, and shows for a festive closing. The detailed program is available online (https://swll.to/fetebormettes2026).
On Saturday, May 30, from 2:30 pm to 5 pm, families are invited to the afternoon event “Let’s all play together,” an initiative by PEEP La Londe. At Port Miramar, in the Président parking lot, many free activities will be offered: inflatables, creative workshops, temporary tattoos, dance demonstrations, boat rides, fishing workshops, and even a sandcastle contest.
In honor of Mother’s Day, the La Londe & Co merchants association is organizing a big game from Tuesday, May 26 to Sunday, May 31. Each purchase in partner stores will earn loyalty points through the “La Londe Commerces” app and a scratch ticket. The lucky ones will spin the wheel of gifts at the final event, on Sunday, May 31 from 9 am to 11:30 am on the forecourt of the Town Hall, with a musical atmosphere.
An eclectic cultural offering
Art enthusiasts can discover the “Fusion” exhibition until May 31 at the Horace-Vernet Gallery. The works of painter DaddyTwoer and sculptor Ferdusal are presented there for free every day.
The week will also include dedicated moments for reading and music. On Friday, May 29 at 6 pm, the Buissonnier Workshop offers an evening of “Reading in Freedom” at the Cassin Hall (registration by email at infos@atelier-buissonnier.eu). That same evening, at 8:30 pm, the Nativité Church will host a concert by the groups Lou Suve and La Boîte à Mie’Zik, with free participation.
On Sunday, May 31 at 6 pm, the Yann-Piat Hall will resonate with the words of Raymond Devos in the solo show “Raymond m’habite.” Presented by the Estelle Londaise Company and directed by Nicolas Noël, this choreographed show promises to bring back the universe of the famous comedian (prices: €12 / €8 for CCAS seniors / €5 for children under 12).
Sports in the spotlight
The Pentecost weekend will be sporty, starting on Monday, May 25, with the U9 football tournament and the Boragno U10 Challenge, organized by SOL all day at Guillaumont Stadium. The major event of the week will be the final of the 2026 Var Cup, held on Sunday, May 31 at 5 pm at Bormisport. The local club, SOL, will face the winner of the match between La Seyne FC and Sporting Club de Toulon.
Petanque will also have its place with a triplet competition on Wednesday, May 27 at the Titou-Chapelle petanque court, followed by an intergenerational doubles match on Saturday, May 30 from 2 pm to 6 pm, organized by FCPE and the Amicale de la Boule Londaise.
Citizen actions and workshops
On Saturday, May 30 in the morning, there will be a focus on environmental commitment with the “Clean the South” operation. The City and the MPM metropolis, in partnership with local associations, invite volunteers to meet at 9 am at Port Miramar for a welcome coffee before starting the coastal beach clean-up.
Among other initiatives, the CCAS offered a free workshop on the “Highway Code” for seniors on Wednesday, May 27, which is fully booked. Finally, a “Family Constellations” workshop is organized by Anoochka Events on Saturday, May 30 afternoon (information and registration at 06 13 53 44 09).
The traditional markets will continue to animate the town: the summer market of the Bormettes every Tuesday morning until September 29, and the large market in the city center every Sunday morning.
