The Museum of the Order of Liberation “And if the greatest stories weren’t those of the cinema? Before fiction, there were the Companions of Liberation!” On the occasion of the Night of Museums, the Museum of the Order of Liberation offers an unprecedented program: an invitation to put fiction and History into perspective through flash visits to transmit the memory of these commitments differently.

The Artillery Museum On the theme “Indochinese Night at the Artillery Museum,” pieces come out of the reserve, including the outdoor exhibition of a restored cannon and the presentation of vehicles from the First and Second World Wars, all enhanced by guided tours.

The museum offers a “Pépin Adventure” for children (under 12) to discover the world of airborne troops with the mascot Pépin and an “Enigma Adventure” (12 and older) with the discovery of collections through solving puzzles. An initiation to parachute jumping is also organized, as well as visits to aircraft (Transall, Broussard, Puma, Alouette II).

The Museum of the Train and Military Crews The museum offers visits to the collections by lantern light and a treasure hunt to discover its mysteries and unusual objects in darkness. A thrilling treasure hunt that will delight both children and adults.

The Museum of Transmissions On the program for the Night of Museums: timed challenges with the Speed Data Challenge, solving puzzles to escape a themed room in our Escape Room, treasure hunt through the museum, activity booklets specially designed for families, and discovery of collections during guided nocturnal visits.

The Mountain Troops Museum The Mountain Troops celebrate the Night of Museums at the Fort de la Bastille in Grenoble with the presence of the association “Les Amis du Fort de Comboire”! “As night falls on the Bastille, the Mountain Troops museum comes to life! Mountain soldiers from yesterday and today come out of their showcases and stroll through the casemate rooms of this old fort awakened from its age-old slumber.” Throughout this experience, the museum offers unprecedented animations with the participation of reenactors in period costumes (Alpine hunters from 1910, World Wars soldiers…) present throughout the course.
