CHEAD: Opportunity for Understanding French Diplomacy
Established in 2019, CHEAD represents a unique opportunity for decision-makers from all backgrounds to discover the inner workings of the ministry and contribute to the promotion of France’s foreign action by gaining an inside look at French diplomacy.
As with each year, the 2027 edition will span from January to December. This study cycle provides insight into French diplomacy through access to the ministry’s strategic analyses and interactions with diplomats and foreign policy experts.
It is structured around 4 dimensions:
- Seminars held at various ministry sites, in Paris and in the regions;
- Institutional visits (Senate, Elysee Palace, Economic, Social and Environmental Council);
- Promotional trips to discover European institutions (such as France’s representations to the European Union and NATO);
- An educational trip within a French Embassy.
Auditors also become part of a prestigious network, led by the Association of former CHEAD auditors (ACHEAD), consisting of over 250 former and current auditors.
