On Saturday, May 30, the Lalbenque Basket Club will celebrate its ten years of existence. The event will start at 2 pm with an exhibition match of the U18 girls Lalbenque-Pradines, games for kids and adults, a sweet treats bar. At 7 pm, there will be a friendship toast for everyone, followed by a meal with music, burgers, apple pie, wine, and coffee included. The cost is 20 euros for adults and 15 euros for children.
This season, the U11 girls played at level A, the U13 girls finished second in their departmental group, and the U18 girls placed fourth in their interdepartmental group. The club is preparing for the 2026-2027 season with all-female teams, including mini-basket for U9 and U11, and championships for U13, U15, and U18. To prepare for the new season, the club has launched the “Invite your girlfriends” program, allowing free trials of basketball at the end of the season.
