Benjamin Chignoli wins the 4th edition of the Coupe de France des Arbitres La Poste

After eight months of competition, and a record-breaking edition involving over 8,600 amateur referees, Benjamin Chignoli won the 4th edition of the Coupe de France des Arbitres La Poste.

Launched last September, the Coupe de France des Arbitres La Poste 2025-2026 once again highlighted the amateur referees from all metropolitan and overseas regional leagues of the FFF.

At the end of this beautiful journey, victory ultimately went to Benjamin Chignoli, a 23-year-old District 2 referee, licensed in Rueil-Malmaison FC (Paris-Île-de-France League / Hauts-de-Seine District). Highly involved in amateur football, the Francilian official stood out throughout the season for the quality of his performances and his commitment on the field every weekend.

In the final, Benjamin Chignoli beat Alexandre Sère, a 35-year-old district trainee referee, licensed in FC L’Isle-Jourdain (Occitanie League / Gers District), who was experiencing his first season of officiating.

Two other awards will be given tonight: Faïza Ben Messaoud, also representing Rueil-Malmaison FC, won the award for best female referee, while Paul Gallais, a 15-year-old licensed in Entente Sportive Municipale Gonfreville (Normandy League / Seine-Maritime District), will be honored as the best young referee of the competition.
