They had entered, armed with a knife, at the Clémence Isaure college in Toulouse on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. A mother and two of her children were presented to justice on Friday, May 15. The mother was placed in pre-trial detention before her immediate appearance.
The mother who entered with her two teenagers, a son and a daughter aged 15 and 17 respectively, at a college in Toulouse, was placed in pre-trial detention pending her immediate appearance on Monday, indicated the Toulouse prosecutor’s office on Friday, May 15. Aged 44, she will be judged for “violence without incapacity for work within a school establishment”, “intrusion with a weapon in a school establishment”, and “transport of category D bladed weapons.”
On Wednesday, May 13, late in the morning, the 44-year-old woman and her two minor children, not enrolled in the school, entered the Clémence Isaure college in Toulouse. The family then targeted a student “whom they accused of harassing the third child of the sibling, aged 11 and attending school in the establishment“.
The 15-year-old son then pulled out a knife and tried to reach the student, also 15 years old, the prosecutor said. A supervisor who had intervened miraculously avoided the knife blows. As for the attacked student, it turned out that he was not the one they accused, as he was absent. On the other hand, “the sister punched another student“, also 15 years old and who “was trying to protect his classmate“.
The aggressors fled before being apprehended by the police, near the college. “Four knives, a cleaver, a can of tear gas, and a pellet gun” were later found in the family’s car. According to the Toulouse Prosecutor’s Office, the mother and her teenagers partially denied the facts, including using the weapons.
The two minors were presented before the juvenile judge for the offenses attributed to their mother. The Prosecutor’s Office requested their placement under judicial control and a provisional educational judicial measure.
