Trump to send an “election integrity army” for upcoming midterms
Expressing concerns over potential fraud or manipulation in the upcoming November midterm elections, Donald Trump announced that Republicans are considering sending an “army for the integrity of elections.”
With six months remaining until the midterm elections in the United States, Donald Trump acknowledges that he is facing challenges. Convinced that the 2020 election was “rigged,” the president stated that an “army” could be deployed across all states to ensure a smooth electoral process.

The information was disclosed by The Independent, following a post by Donald Trump on his Truth Social platform. According to reports, the president appeared to credit his “historic victory of 2024” to the deployment of thousands of volunteers to monitor polling stations and assist in resolving election disputes.
“A much larger force”
“When I won all the swing states and achieved a decisive victory in terms of electoral votes and popular vote, Republicans had deployed an army of election integrity defenders in every state to preserve the sanctity of each legal vote. We will do the same in 2026, but with a much larger force,” wrote Donald Trump.

The Independent notes that this announcement comes amidst Democrats calling for oversight of the election process. Additionally, Donald Trump has already signed an executive order to restrict mail-in voting and is seeking to redraw electoral maps in Republican states.
“Donald Trump knows, his party knows, that they are at risk of losing this election in 2026, which is why they are working tirelessly to skew the vote in their favor,” stated minority Senate leader Chuck Schumer.
