The girls from TUC can be proud of the organization of the event and their successful season.
For the first time in the history of the National 1 championship, the top four teams competed in playoffs to determine the champion team and those who will move up to the next level (directly or after a playoff). Unfortunately, TUC’s first match was against Wattignies, the regular season winner and champion of the finals.
TUC’s team played in the consolation match against Lille but still faced defeat. The president Sophie Raffy acknowledged the opponent’s quality and expressed satisfaction with their team’s performance despite the loss.
The important focus for the team, which changed coaches and lost key players this season, is to sustain the team and build on their experience. The president emphasized managing player arrivals and departures while relying on young players for the future.
The success of organizing the playoffs highlighted hockey in Toulouse and showcased the local talent. It also provided an opportunity to build camaraderie among the teams.
Overall, the event was rewarding for the club and the sport of hockey, according to the enthusiastic president Sophie Raffy.
