Winamp Group continues the execution of Bridger’s global deployment strategy through new international partnerships
Regulatory News: Winamp Group (Paris: ALWIN) (Brussels: ALWIN), the parent company of Winamp, announces a new series of strategic agreements for Bridger, its copyright management platform, marking a significant step towards comprehensive global coverage of music rights in strategic markets.
Following two previous waves of partnerships announced in recent weeks, Bridger continues its acceleration with the signing of new agreements with leading collective rights management organizations, including SOCAN (Canada), EAU (Estonia), EMRA (United Arab Emirates), AKKA/LAA (Latvia), OSA (Czech Republic), CAPASSO (South Africa), and MusicNation (United Arab Emirates).
This new phase illustrates Bridger’s transition from an initial deployment to an accelerated expansion phase, with the platform continuing to develop and strengthen its international rights management network across a growing number of strategic territories.
In North America and Central America, the agreement with SOCAN is a significant milestone, significantly enhancing Bridger’s collection capabilities in the region. Combined with existing agreements with BMI, MLC, and SACM, this partnership further consolidates Bridger’s position in one of the world’s largest music markets.
In Europe, partnerships with EAU in Estonia, AKKA/LAA in Latvia, and OSA in the Czech Republic strengthen Bridger’s presence in the Baltic regions and Central Europe, contributing to the development of a more integrated and comprehensive network covering both mechanical and performance rights.
In the Middle East, agreements with EMRA and MusicNation in the United Arab Emirates mark a new milestone in Bridger’s international development. They allow the Group to position itself in a rapidly growing market while strengthening its presence in the region.
In Africa, the agreement with CAPASSO in South Africa enhances Bridger’s presence in emerging music markets with high potential, while expanding its mechanical rights collection capabilities.
Thanks to the signing of several agreements in recent weeks, Bridger continues the rapid expansion of its international infrastructure. Each new partnership strengthens the platform’s collection capabilities and enhances its attractiveness to creators and rights holders seeking a comprehensive, integrated solution capable of operating on a large scale. New agreements are currently in advanced discussions and are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
“Each new agreement strengthens the solidity and scope of our international rights management infrastructure,” comments Alexandre Saboundjian, CEO of Winamp Group. “The work undertaken in recent months allows us to gradually expand our presence in strategic markets and enhance the value of our platform for creators and rights holders. Our priority remains to execute our roadmap with discipline to build a global infrastructure capable of operating on a large scale.”
