For its third edition, the Bigouden Odyssey will be held in Plobannalec-Lesconil, as promised by the municipality, for a festive day focused on sustainable development and changing our habits. The port of Lesconil will host the festivities from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The inauguration will take place at 11:30 a.m.

Organized by the Nautisme en Pays Bigouden association, in partnership with CCPBS, the municipality, and the Lesconil Nautical and Outdoor Center, the event will welcome residents and visitors for a moment of sharing and discovery. Focused on water activities, local know-how, and initiatives for coastal preservation, it will combine festivities, citizenship, and local belonging.

Music and Cinema

Organized in three villages (institutional, children, and creators) and a producers’ market, the Odyssey will offer numerous activities for everyone, on water and land: baptisms (sailboat, misainier, barbinasse, outrigger canoe, paddle, catamaran, kayak), coastal rescue initiation, aqua trekking, swimming, mountain biking, bike and balance bike routes, educational shore fishing, etc. Musical performances will punctuate the day (Brest Tenor, Fanfoire du Rosa Bonheur, Loire Valley Calypso, and DJ Marco). The public can dine at the stands and food trucks available (Billigouden, Marino, Blaz Lab, M’ile Saveurs, Jakez, and Hopala). The organization welcomes volunteers willing to get involved in the event.

Ahead of the event, cinema will be part of it with the screening of “Autour de la Bretagne” by Lost in the Swell at Cinéville Pont-l’Abbé on Wednesday, May 13 at 8:30 p.m., followed by a debate. On Thursday, May 14 at 2:30 p.m. at ESB La Torche, in collaboration with Surfrider, a waste collection operation will be organized.
