The town of Salmiech celebrated the seventh art by offering a day entirely dedicated to cinema at the Théron Residence.
From 10 am, the youngest viewers, starting from 3 years old, were able to discover “Jeune pousse”, a short and poetic program that captured their attention for 35 minutes. Laughter, wonder, and curiosity were present, followed by a manual activity at the end of the screening.
The afternoon continued with the screening of the film “Les enfants de la Résistance”. For almost 1 hour and 40 minutes, children and adults were immersed in a captivating story blending adventure and memory, sparking numerous discussions with the older audience members after the film. The day ended in a friendly atmosphere with a shared snack at 4 pm, bringing together children, participants, residents of Théron, and the local municipality in a warm moment.
Offered free of charge to the residents of Salmiech and open to neighboring towns, this day exemplified the municipality’s commitment to making culture accessible to all while promoting intergenerational encounters.
Organized in partnership with the Lévézou Attractiveness and Tourism Agency, Mondes et Multitudes, and the Théron Residence, this event, held in place of the canceled Christmas day, hints at possible future editions.
