After a few minutes of observation, the match started under the rain, making the footing slippery. It took until the 16th minute for Aignan to score the first goal, with Capin opening the score following a long possession sequence.

The Aignanais continued their domination, with Capin assisting Serrin for the second goal. The game was briefly interrupted by a storm in the 43rd minute, but resumed before halftime.
