A disappointing result for local coach Laurent Dauriac: “It is a final result that is very frustrating when we know that we hit the post three times in this game and that we conceded two goals on two defensive errors. The goal was to finally win at home. We did not achieve that in this match and it is really infuriating. We still take this point. It’s not like we lost but we are still very disappointed with this result considering how the game went.”
More than just one chance
The technician, very committed to defensive solidity, had trouble explaining the defensive mistakes of his team. “There are clearly concentration issues within the group. On the first goal we concede, we lose several duels in a row on a side that allow the [opposing] player to deliver a cross in too good conditions and on the second, it’s even worse,” analyzed Laurent Dauriac, adding: “A clear lack of concentration with a total marking error in the heart of the defense for a player who goes alone towards goal in a somewhat trivial situation.”
