When the name Christophe Bosco Aude is mentioned, the reaction is obvious for SFC president Jean Thunin: “Sportingly, he is a remarkable player who has succeeded in his diplomas. Personally, he is a very good guy, polite and respectful.” A discreet playmaker, the Bas-Alpin prefers the shadows to the spotlight. Yet, his vision and technique often propel his teammates into the limelight.

He has the instincts of a scorer, but underutilizes it, preferring to weave between opponents at the heart of the game. At times, his generosity is such that one could believe his contract forbids him from scoring. In short, Christophe has always been like that.

Development of early talent around football

At a very young age, he settled in Gap and began to touch the ball on the high Alpine lawns. Quickly, he ranked among the best and caught the eye of his coaches. These performances opened the doors to training with the U17s when he was just 13 years old.

Over time, young Christophe progressed and joined Annecy in the U16 category, marking the beginning of a new life for the Marseille native. Settled in the Savoyard lands and enrolled in the sports section of his new high school, the Mediterranean spent six beautiful years there.

With the national U17s and regional U18-19s, Christophe Bosco Aude will be remembered for his impressive journeys, especially in the Gambardella Cup, as well as some moments with the B team and the first team, before heading back to the South to join Carnoux FC. After three seasons on the French Riviera, he joined Gemenos for a year before returning to Marseille by signing with UGA Ardziv.

“It’s difficult to wear two hats”

Since being in Sisteron, the player has gotten closer to his family and plays an important role within the Sisteron team, where he has gradually taken on new responsibilities as a coach.

“It’s difficult to wear two hats. I am someone rather reserved and we are a team of friends. I am neither Pep Guardiola nor Jose Mourinho, but as a coach, I have to make choices based on my vision of football, and even if the players do not agree, I ask them to respect them.”

After this rather experimental first season and the promotion to R3, Christophe intends to fully commit to the project to achieve the club’s objectives and “contribute to restoring the reputation of SFC”.
