Rising on social media and then propelled onto the stage, Jayde, dreaming in “La France a un incroyable talent”, embodies a meteoric rise. Originally from Coutance in Normandy, the singer is accompanied on stage by her partner Antoine Rouxelin. It was actually with his support that she passed the audition for the show. A successful bet as her powerful voice won over the audience and carried her to the doors of the semi-finals. An extraordinary story.

It all started on social media a few years ago. Like many emerging artists, Jayde posted covers from her home. But an event changed everything: rapper Booba noticed and shared one of her videos, a cover of “Je l’aime à mourir” by Francis Cabrel. “What power!” he commented. In a few weeks, everything changed. Numerous followers started to follow her. A sudden visibility that propelled Jayde onto TV sets and radios. Her powerful and accurate voice quickly gained unanimous approval, but her media ascent did not stop there.

“On Instagram, I went from 500 to 16,000 followers in five months. On TikTok, from 0 to 100,000 in three months.”

Her partner, Antoine Rouxelin, has been accompanying her musically for several years. Convinced of her talent, he encouraged her to try her luck on “La France a un incroyable talent”. But the production made her believe she was not selected. With the complicity of her partner, the “La France a un incroyable Talent” teams invited Jayde to attend the program as a simple spectator. Until everything changed: she was called onto the stage. A total surprise. The jury members were won over by her talent and she succeeded in the selections. She went far in this show as she made it to the doors of the semi-final. This surprise organized by the production with the complicity of her partner was a veritable emotional rollercoaster.

If the TV experience was impressive for Jayde, she was already used to the stage. In 2019, she notably opened for Keen’V. She also performed in front of over 10,000 people for the Fête de la musique, confirming her ability to captivate a wide audience.

Behind this success, years of work. Both author, composer, and performer, Jayde was spotted at the age of 11 by her music teacher in middle school. She worked on her voice alone, without academic training, for several hours a day. She also learned the piano, guitar, and ukulele. A complete artist, Jayde gradually built a complete artistic universe.

Today, Jayde is performing concerts, expanding her presence on social media, and preparing a new EP. A busy schedule that suggests one thing: her name could quickly establish itself on the French music scene. She can also be found on the music show Poom Tchak, broadcast on France 3 Normandie.
