It is often said that women experience a midlife crisis. But if there is one who disagrees with this statement, it’s Adriana Karembeu. At 54, the stunning Slovakian, who still shines with her remarkable figure, claims to be in the best period of her life. Full of projects and energy, she, who shares her life with Marc Lavoine, never ceases to impress the French, especially when she steps onto the red carpet sporting a short, boyish haircut and colored eyebrows. “Many people tell me: ‘oh, you are living your teenage crisis at 50’. We are categorized, but I don’t think that’s it,” she said in a recent interview with Lou Media shared on Instagram.
Age Does Not Stop Adriana Karembeu
Becoming a mother to little Nina at 46, Adriana Karembeu realized many of her dreams later in life. Today, Michel Cymes’ sidekick does not want to wait any longer to be happy. She takes her life by the reins and enjoys every moment without too many questions. “At 50, we live our fulfilled life. We have a certain maturity, experience… We are well-established in our life, and this new life, in a way, is quite nice. If we live it with a lot of optimism, fulfillment, and enthusiasm, why should we call it a crisis?” she questioned, facing the camera. In a society based on appearance and particularly difficult with women, the tall blonde who is also the face and ambassador of the Red Cross since 2000 prefers not to worry about external judgments. “If we age, it means we are still alive. If we are old, it means we are not dead. It’s a chance, it’s rather good news!” she affirmed with a big smile.
Adriana Karembeu to the Fullest!
Despite everything, Adriana Karembeu remains aware that everyone must adapt to the limits of their body. “I’m not saying we shouldn’t adapt. These are new rules. But we must lead our lives as we wish,” she assured before concluding: “That’s what I do, to the fullest!”
Regarding her physical beauty, the former wife of footballer Christian Karembeu still admits to being aware of having changed. “We can’t say that physically, we are better now than thirty years ago! There are women who say that, but it’s a form of hypocrisy. We can have more charm, but when we really talk about beauty – I was a model, so I know how I was 30 years ago,” she confessed in 2025 on the Youtube show “Mesdames Médias” hosted by Maïtena Biraben. Nevertheless, Adriana Karembeu’s beauty remains undeniable for many.
