Sonik is a creation for all ages, a meeting of two personalities: Elise Caron, author, composer, singer and actress, who is writing a story for the first time, full of her whimsical spirit, to share the stage with the associated artist, Jeanne Bleuse, multi-keyboard interpreter, between harpsichord, piano, and percussion.
To enchant curious ears, pianist Jeanne Bleuse and singer Elise Caron combine their talents. They imagine a sonic and theatrical journey, a dreamlike adventure, between story, song, and fantasy. A mischievous musical comedy, to delight adults as much as children. Collaborators, they take us into a world populated by strange and familiar characters, where situations and music are invented before our eyes. Halfway between classical-pop pocket opera, musical tale, and burlesque duo, this show promises to be a joyful escape to open wide the doors of imagination.
Sonik also offers audiences a chance to discover music differently: up close to the artists, in a circle around them, exchanging glances and listening sensations during the “Blue Hours,” exploring each an original and different universe.
