Adam Peaty believes he is in a “very good frame of mind” as he makes his return to competition in London. He recently won gold in the 50m at the Edinburgh International Swim Meet but finished fourth in the 100m, losing to 18-year-old British junior world champion Filip Nowacki.
Peaty also shared that he is settled in his family life, having married model Holly Ramsay, the daughter of TV chef Gordon Ramsay, in December. He emphasized the peace and support he receives from his family, friends, and wife, making his sporting journey much easier.
He expressed gratitude for the support of his famous in-laws, mentioning completing a triathlon with Team Ramsay last August. Reflecting on his wedding speech, Peaty humorously admitted that Gordon Ramsay likely delivered the best toast of the day, knowing how to make people laugh and bring them together.
Gordon Ramsay, known for his career as a chef and restaurateur, has also inspired Peaty with his disciplined approach to sports and business. Peaty admires Ramsay’s work ethic and dedication, acknowledging the lessons he has learned from the culinary icon that apply to both sports and life.
