The third round of indirect talks between Iran and the United States began in Geneva.
Delegations from Iran and the United States showed unprecedented openness to new and creative ideas and solutions during the latest round of indirect talks on the nuclear issue, according to a statement from the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs published on the X social network.

The Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr al-Busaidi, held a meeting on Thursday in Geneva with President Biden’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, and President Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, as part of the ongoing indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States, the statement said.
The meeting reviewed the views and proposals of the Iranian side, as well as the responses and questions from the American negotiating team regarding key elements of the Iranian nuclear program and the necessary guarantees to reach the desired agreement in all technical and control aspects.
Al-Busaidi stated that efforts continue intensively and constructively, with negotiators showing openness to new and innovative ideas and solutions, while creating conditions conducive to progress and the conclusion of a fair agreement supported by sustainable guarantees.
Al-Busaidi met with the Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, in Geneva on Wednesday evening as part of the ongoing talks session.
