Radiant Mobile, a mobile operator, offers its subscribers a “Jesus-centered” web environment for $30 a month, which excludes pornography and LGBT+ content. The founder, Paul Fisher, positions the service as appealing to families wanting a mobile experience aligned with their values.

The web is segmented into 120 categories, with certain categories like pornography and satanism completely blocked. Some categories are restricted by age group, while others like “violence” and “weapons” are accessible to both teenagers and adults.

The filtering system, developed by Israeli company Allot, is applied at the network level and cannot be disabled without switching operators. The criteria for categorizing content remain opaque and subjective, with LGBT+ content typically falling under the “sexuality” category.

Yale University’s LGBT+ page is blocked by default for Radiant Mobile subscribers. The operator also generates educational content with biblical themes using artificial intelligence, such as videos inspired by biblical stories.

Paul Fisher expresses a goal of making the internet more aligned with “the people of God” and aims to expand the service globally, including in countries like South Korea and Mexico.
