The Rugby Club Toulonnais loses on the field against Racing 92 this Saturday night at Paris La Défense Arena (43-28).

The Red and Black team start the match perfectly with a try from Melvyn Jaminet in the 4th minute, converted by the Toulon back (0-7). Racing quickly responds with Ibrahim Diallo scoring in the 8th minute, before Gaël Dréan gives RCT the lead in the 12th minute after another conversion by Jaminet (7-14).

The Franciliens then take control of the match. Gerónimo Prisciantelli first reduces the gap with a penalty kick (16′), followed by tries from Josua Tuisova (19′) and Prisciantelli (24′) in quick succession. Just before halftime, Hassane Kolingar scores Racing’s fourth try, converted by Prisciantelli, allowing the home team to lead 31-14 at halftime.

Coming back from the break, Pierre Damond quickly powers the Red and Blacks with a try in the 45th minute, converted by Jaminet (31-21). However, Nathan Hughes answers back for Racing in the 54th minute (36-21).

RCT continues to push, and Joé Quere-Karaba scores Toulon’s fourth try in the 63rd minute, converted by Tomas Albornoz (36-28). But Josua Tuisova definitively seals the victory for Racing with a final try in the 78th minute, converted by Antoine Gibert (43-28).
