The Palestinian Authority claims Israeli soldiers killed a man in the West Bank

The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that Israeli soldiers killed a man on Saturday in the Jenin refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank. According to the ministry, Nour al-Din Kamal Hassan Fayyad, 34 years old, was killed “by the occupying forces in the Jenin camp.”

The Palestinian Red Crescent, on the other hand, reported receiving the lifeless body of a man in Jenin who had “been shot in the thigh.” When asked for a response, the Israeli army did not immediately reply to AFP.

In January, Israel launched a large-scale military operation in several Palestinian refugee camps in the northern West Bank, claiming to target armed groups. The operation, known as the “Iron Wall,” targeted the camps of Jenin and Tulkarem, displacing nearly 40,000 Palestinians, according to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
