So when Morgan didn’t show up for the early shift one morning, her co-workers knew something was wrong.
When her boyfriend woke up, he noticed Morgan’s car still sitting in their driveway. She should have left hours earlier.
When he walked outside to check on her, he found Morgan slumped over the driver’s seat. Unresponsive and covered in blood.
She had been shot dead.
Her boyfriend called 911. When law enforcement arrived, they noticed that Morgan’s purse was still on her and nothing had been taken, which led them to think her death was not the result of a random robbery.
As the investigation unfolded, law enforcement would turn to the place Morgan was headed to that morning for clues. They had a whole warehouse full of people to speak with.
One of them would become their suspect.
