As the summer conference ball approaches, ActuGaming is preparing for the 2026 edition of its AG French Direct, which has some nice surprises in store for us again this year.
Time flies, and without it seeming, we are already at the gates of the second half of the month of May. Slowly but surely, this means that we are getting dangerously close to the summer conference period, where many publishers will speak through conferences like the Summer Game Fest, the State of Play, the Xbox Games Showcase and the Nintendo Direct. Without forgetting the AG French Direct here, which will launch the festivities from May 27 at 6 p.m.
AG French Direct soon back for a new edition
Indeed, the event set up by our colleagues at ActuGaming will be back again this year for a brand new edition, which will once again highlight dozens of independent games with new trailers, new announcements, interviews and more. On the program this time: more than 40 French and French-speaking games are expected, including productions from Sol Brothers, Dear Villagers, Rebel Pixel, New Tales, Arte and Sunny Side Games.
Knowing that this is only a small sample of all the studios that attended the event, which will extend beyond the conference itself. Because like previous years, the AG French Direct will then provide players with more than 25 playable demos to find on Steam, so they can get to grips with some of the titles presented during the conference. And if we rely on the line-up of previous years, there is no doubt that many gems will be found in the lot.
From MIO Memories in Orbit to CAIRN, via Hell is Us and Ravenswatch, the AG French Direct has largely proven its ability to highlight some of the best independent and French-speaking games released in recent years. And as usual, the 2026 edition will then be found on the official ActuGaming channels, that is to say YouTube, Twitch and Facebook; followed by a complete recap and additional information to be found on their website. Enough to give us a nice appetizer before the Summer Game Fest on June 5, therefore.
