Organized by the City Hall of the 4th and 5th districts of Marseille in partnership with La Clique Production, this festive and free event brings together artists, associations, and residents for three days in one of the most beautiful settings in the city. Concerts in the open air, open stage, solidarity initiatives, eco-responsible refreshment stand—Culture Debout proves that a vibrant, accessible, and committed culture is possible. A solidarity-focused and committed festival.
Since its creation in 2020, Culture Debout has been part of a movement that goes beyond a simple festive event. The festival highlights local solidarity initiatives by showcasing local associations: presentation stands throughout the weekend and an open stage on Sunday for neighborhood artists.
When it comes to the refreshment stand, the commitment is total: natural drinks, craft beer, local wines, a zero-waste service entirely from the tap—even for soft drinks—thanks to the Marseille brewery Soiffe. And each unreturned eco-cup donates its €1 deposit to the Ramina association, involved in the care of minors. Consuming differently, that’s also what Culture Debout is about.
