The annual general meeting of the Vigatana portvendrenca took place on Saturday, April 25 at the cultural center in the presence of around fifty members. All reports and summaries from the year 2025 were approved unanimously, highlighting the assembly’s recognition of the various activities of the Port-Vendres association.

From the preschool to the retirement home, Vigatana has been involved wherever the sardana and Catalan traditions are present. The association plans to continue participating in festive and cultural events where Catalan culture and sardanas hold a significant place (Sant Jordi, Sant Joan, Catalan festival, festa major, etc.). A culinary workshop project is being considered for June to showcase a emblematic dish of Catalan cuisine.

The assembly concluded with the election of the foment’s board. All participants then enjoyed a friendly aperitif and tasted the “bunyetes” made by the members of the administration committee.
