   Gun violence in the city of Buffalo has reached a historic 20-year low with shooting incidents down 84% since 2006, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Monday.

2. Buffalo Bills provide fresh look at new Highmark Stadium
   The Buffalo Bills are providing a new look at the new Highmark Stadium that is set to just open in a matter of months in Orchard Park. The new stadium will feature state-of-the-art concourses and home team locker room. It also appears that all seats have been installed.

3. 10 prospects the Buffalo Bills could select in the 2026 NFL Draft
   After trading their second-round pick for wide receiver DJ Moore, the Buffalo Bills hold picks #91, #126, #165, #168, #182, and #220 in the draft. The biggest question is, with all of the moves the team has made this offseason, who will the Bills draft?

4. NYSCOPBA to Hochul: State prisons in ‘systemic emergency’ amid surge in violence, contraband
   The New York State Correctional Officers and Police Benevolent Association (NYSCOPBA) in a letter to Gov. Kathy Hochul Monday declared that the state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS) is in a full-scale “systemic emergency” following a surge in violence, contraband, staff assaults, and deaths inside prisons, among other issues.

5. As businesses begin claiming tariff refunds, Hochul says New Yorkers ‘deserve their money back’
   New York Gov. Kathy Hochul on Monday reiterated her calls for the Trump administration to refund an estimated $13.5 billion in tariff payments to New Yorkers as importers and their brokers were able Monday to begin claiming refunds through an online portal after the Supreme Court in February struck down many of the president’s far-reaching tariffs.

Buffalo Sabres forward Alex Tuch grew up a Sabres fan in Syracuse and is now part of Sabres history, playing a big role on the team that finally returned to the playoffs. But he’s also been busy off the ice.

A week ago, Tuch and his wife, Kylie, made a surprise $50,000 donation to the NICU at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo. This comes after the Tuchs’ son received critical care last year.
