The United States seem to be trapped in a disarray orchestrated by American President Donald Trump, whose foreign policy resembles a blind man’s stick, as it is still unclear where it might lead.
Entangled in the Iranian crisis, Uncle Sam’s country progresses like a blind giant on shaky ground, unable to formulate a coherent strategy, let alone find a way out with dignity.
Neither war nor agreement: the American status quo prevailing since the beginning of the fragile truce between Tehran and the American-Zionist coalition, appears to be an extended deadlock, where every move is dictated not by caution or national interest, but by the necessity to satisfy an ally whose belligerent choices dictate American policy.
It is easy to guess that this ally is Israel. A staunch opponent to any compromise with Iran, the Hebrew state has indeed become, with its maximalist demands and deadly practices, the true conductor of American foreign policy in the Middle East.
Washington threatens, sanctions, deploys its forces, but always keeping an eye on Tel Aviv. Any inclination towards negotiation is promptly obstructed by the Zionist Prime Minister Netanyahu and the extremist clique of his government, whose demands are treated as orders that the American administration must enforce without hesitation, even if it ultimately leads to nothing.
Every move by the White House is driven by the need to reassure the Israeli protege, who constantly demands confrontation and aggression. In the long run, America finds itself hostage to a belligerent and embarrassing ally, more determined to impose its apocalyptic vision than secure the region it seeks to dominate.
It must be said that for years, Washington has been playing with fire in the Middle East, alternating between suffocating sanctions and spectacular shows of force. All against the backdrop of an unjust foreign policy that has caused dreadful suffering among civilian populations in occupied territories, Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq, among other places.
This exceptionally aggressive policy, pursued relentlessly for decades, has only plunged the entire region into the depths of chaos and perpetual instability.
The current crisis marked by a latent and sordid war, which has notably led to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, is ultimately just the logical consequence of this hazardous and extremely dangerous policy favored by the United States, which accumulates military and diplomatic errors and costs. Errors that not only harm American interests but also, and above all, the rest of the world.
When America indulges in triggering endless wars, the whole planet, paradoxically, wakes up in the morning with a terrible hangover.
The surge in oil prices in the international market, with all the consequences that follow for many economies worldwide, mainly originates from reckless and hazardous decisions made under the auspices of the White House and the watchful eye of the warmongers in the American administration.
Between arrogance, poor anticipation, and an obsession with international image, Washington sinks deeper into a Middle Eastern quagmire it no longer controls. The illusion of power crumbles: the country that purports to impose order finds itself as an impotent spectator of a crisis it no longer knows how to resolve.
Ultimately, America’s entanglement in the Iranian crisis is more than just a strategic failure—it is proof that a global power can become hostage to the choices of a dangerous and dubious ally, incapable of charting its own course and doomed to navigate in uncertainty. Neither war nor agreement, just a costly paralysis for all—except maybe those pulling the strings backstage.
In this gloomy atmosphere marked by anticipation and uncertainty, America’s allies in the region watch skeptically and anxiously as the situation unfolds, while Iran observes calmly and maneuvers with the assurance of one who knows that the adversary is trapped in their own contradictions.
The Iranian leaders, adept maneuverers familiar with the trials and tribulations of harsh challenges, are well aware that America has wandered into a labyrinth without knowing the way out, accumulating one mistake after another and appearing like a ship adrift, lost in a storm.
