Lilembo and his teammates once again delivered a high-level performance on the court against Grand Nancy VB. Despite the fact that the Nancéiens were hoping for a 5th consecutive victory to end the season, they faced a strong opponent in Abeille. The first set was won by the Lorrains with the powerful arm of US point guard Jacob Steele, but GNVB eventually found a way to win (7-7, 15-15, 19-16, and 25-21).

ASI slowly subdued the Nancy supporters with their strong serving, dominating the local team (4-8). Kaba and Ben Romdhane’s blocks against Steele put the Girondins in a favorable position (13-17 and 18-25). Without Tsmokalo, who was with the Ukrainian national team, GNVB lacked one of their best offensive and defensive players. Despite Steele and Petrov’s efforts, Nancy struggled against the power of the Girondins (8-10 and 12-14). The enthusiasm from Illac was tangible as Millour, ASI’s libero, scored a winning point, leading Abeille to victory (19-25).

Bonon and his team had to quash Nancy’s last desires in a fiercely contested 4th set. Despite Nancy’s strong performance, Lilembo once again led his team to victory, bringing them closer to success (20-23). GNVB’s final attempt was futile, resulting in a 23-25 loss.
