The MEDEF Lyon-Rhône Strengthens its Commitment to Workplace Health and Sports

In a context where employee health has become a major strategic issue, MEDEF Lyon-Rhône is enhancing its commitment to guide companies towards more sustainable, humane, and efficient models. Through initiatives like restarting its sports committee and its annual partnership with the APICIL Group, MEDEF Lyon-Rhône is making workplace health a true driver of transformation in 2026.

From Intentions to Actions: Caring for Executives and Employees

During the event “Executives: Take Care of Yourself and Your Employees,” scheduled for April 28, 2026, at All In Country Club, MEDEF Lyon-Rhône and APICIL Group, within their annual partnership, highlight a strong conviction: workplace health must go beyond a regulatory obligation and become a central pillar of corporate strategy.

This meeting aims to guide executives in concrete steps, providing them with the keys to effectively act on several essential dimensions: prevention of psychosocial risks, balance between professional and personal life, quality of life and working conditions (QLWC), and the role of management in collective well-being.

On the side of MEDEF Lyon-Rhône, the APICIL Group fully embraces this dynamic by providing its expertise in social protection and prevention, with a shared ambition to move from awareness to action. This commitment was evident at an event held at Tour To-Lyon on March 17, 2026, with the theme “ESG Strategy: From Constraint to Competitive Advantage.”

Sport as a Concrete Lever for Transforming the Company

In line with this approach, MEDEF Lyon-Rhône relaunched its Sports Committee in 2026, aiming to make sports a structuring tool for the region’s companies.

Comprised of engaged executives and actors, this committee positions sports as a strategic lever around three major axes: workplace health by promoting well-being and prevention, economic attractiveness of the region, and dissemination of inspiring best practices.

In fact, sports are a great catalyst for transformation: they promote team cohesion, develop leadership, enhance resilience, and improve quality of work life.

A Collective Momentum Driven by Local Companies

The launch of the Sports Committee, marked by an inaugural event bringing together over 120 executives, illustrates the desire to unify companies around a common vision: making well-being a driver of collective performance.

Through testimonials, exchanges, and experience sharing, this initiative sheds light on the tangible impact of sports practices in the professional environment, while highlighting synergies between the business world and the local sports ecosystem.

Towards a More Humane and Committed Company

With these initiatives, MEDEF Lyon-Rhône asserts a clear ambition: guiding companies towards a model where economic performance harmoniously combines with employee health and well-being.

By placing sports and workplace health at the core of the strategy, they pave the way for a more resilient, attractive, and deeply rooted company in the issues of its time.
