Since mid-March, 31-year-old Thai boxer Jordan Djuma-Pili has opened his coaching studio on rue Jean-Nicolas in Saint-Brieuc, called BoxingLab. A native of Saint-Brieuc, he still has “two or three professional fights” to go. Holder of a Vocational Certificate in Youth, Popular Education and Sport (BPJeps), he specializes in contact sports.

“Ma proposition s’adresse aux personnes qui voudraient commencer ou reprendre le sport, mais aussi aux confirmés qui voudraient développer et approfondir leurs compétences, notamment sur du travail au poids de corps.”

Sessions in the morning and late at night

Emphasizing a “fun” practice with exercises related to boxing and specific equipment, he also offers, in addition to muscle strengthening, cardio work. It is about “doing sports differently, through a different approach from what one might be familiar with in a gym,” he presents. His studio is actually located just across from the Helene Boucher stadium, which he uses for some exercises. Sessions can be done solo, duo, or trio. In terms of schedules, he adapts “to everyone’s availability,” offering slots in the morning or late at night. “Je peux proposer des séances dès 5h30 en matinée et jusqu’à 21h30 en soirée,” he confirms.
