About 130 lots of items that belonged to Friends star Matthew Perry are set to be auctioned off. The funds will be used to support people suffering from addiction.
From Banksy artworks to scripts from the famous Friends series, dozens of items that belonged to Matthew Perry will be auctioned off in June in the United States. The actor, who played Chandler Bing in Friends, was found dead in 2023 at the age of 54, after publicly speaking about his addiction problems.

About 130 lots of items are up for auction, including his favorite watch, childhood mementos, Banksy artworks, and Friends scripts. “It’s a mix of all sorts of items from the actor’s life,” said Roberta Kramer from Heritage Auctions, who is managing the sale.
“Things related to his work in ‘Friends’ and other TV series and movies, but also many very personal items, from his childhood to adulthood.”

This auction aims to raise funds for the Matthew Perry Foundation, an organization that helps people struggling with addiction. According to Roberta Kramer, the actor created his foundation to use his “celebrity and experience with addiction to help others.”

Several people have been convicted for the actor’s death, including Jasveen Sangha, a trafficker nicknamed “the ketamine queen” who supplied drugs to Matthew Perry.
