The museums of Vienna will not only be free during the traditional European Museum Night, which will take place next weekend on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24, but they will be more alive than ever thanks to the numerous activities on the program.
For example, at the Vienna Museum of Fine Arts on Place de Miremont, a white card will be given to the Viennese company Ma’Erra, which will take over the museum.
Dancers, actors, circus performers will offer you a different visiting experience, around birth and origins, all in movement, textures, transparencies, and colors.
This artistic proposal will be accompanied by an electro musical creation played live by FaFi.
A completely different experience will be offered at the Cloître Saint-André-le-Bas with calligraphy and painting performances animated by Hélène Sévi and Camille Weber.
At the Museum of Textile Industry, two actresses will immerse you in the atmosphere of workshops and difficult working conditions, moments of life, but also feminine injunctions.
It is worth knowing that this collective also supports a cultural project around the Viennese working-class memory in the Estressin district.
-Free entry to all sites and museums in Vienna from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and from 1:30 pm to 6 pm. Saturday, May 23 from 8 pm to 11 pm free entry for the Museum of Fine Arts and Archaeology, the Museum of Textile Industry, and the Cloître de Saint-André-le-Bas.
