John Travolta teased an early viewing of his film, expressing his excitement with his daughter Ella. The seventy-year-old actor, known for his piloting skills, arrived at the Cannes Film Festival in his private jet alongside Ella Bleu. Ella stars in his first feature film, “Night Flight to Los Angeles,” set to release on May 29 on Apple TV+. The movie is based on his 1997 novel “Propeller One-Way Night Coach,” inspired by his son Jett who passed away in 2007. The film premiered at Cannes on May 15.

For this special occasion, John Travolta walked the red carpet in Cannes with his daughter Ella Bleu, born from his previous marriage to Kelly Preston who passed away in July 2020. The rare moment of bonding between father and daughter was on display as they headed to the screening of “Karma,” Guillaume Canet’s latest film dedicated to Marion Cotillard, leading to a long standing ovation.

What stood out even more than the tender father-daughter relationship was John Travolta’s appearance. At 72, he looked fresh and stylish, sporting a white beret and subtle glasses to complement his black suit on the red carpet, a departure from the usual Cannes attire.

The exceptional evening was topped with American actor John Travolta taking the stage at the Palais des Festivals to accept a surprise Palme d’Or award from the jury chaired by Director Park Chan-wook. Celebrating his illustrious career, the trophy was presented to him by Festival Director Thierry Frémaux. Travolta expressed his complete surprise and gratitude for the unexpected honor, describing it as a touching moment he never anticipated. This award ceremony is sure to be a memorable one for John Travolta.
