Met Gala 2026: The 20 Best Celebrity Looks

As every first Monday of May, all eyes were on the Met Gala 2026. Last night, the biggest figures in fashion, music, and cinema came together at the Metropolitan Museum of Art to celebrate the spring exhibition of the Costume Institute, Costume Art.

This year, the theme “Fashion Is Art” allowed for a particularly free interpretation of the dress code, inviting celebrities to turn the red carpet into a true living work of art. With sculptural silhouettes, theatrical creations, and ultra-expressive details, the line between fashion and art blurred like never before.

The guest list, as always, brought together the biggest names from the international scene, starting with co-chairs Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, Anna Wintour, and Beyoncé. The evening also marked the highly anticipated return of Beyoncé to the Met Gala, as she hadn’t been at the museum since the 2016 edition, “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.”

The red carpet also saw the host committee, chaired by Anthony Vaccarello and Zoë Kravitz, alongside many personalities including Sabrina Carpenter, Lisa, Teyana Taylor, Alex Consani, Rebecca Hall, Paloma Elsesser, Misty Copeland, as well as the couple Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos.
