Estelle Lefèbure isn’t just an iconic model from the 90s: she is above all a loving mother, for whom family is a sanctuary. The first time she experienced the joys of motherhood was thanks to her marriage with David Hallyday. Married in 1989, they had two daughters, Ilona (born on May 17, 1995) and Emma (born on September 13, 1997), who have become media figures themselves. While the eldest shines in fashion, like her mom, the youngest has become an actress, landing a role in the series “Demain nous appartient.”
Divorced from David Hallyday in February 2001, Estelle Lefèbure later had a beautiful relationship with TV host Arthur, but they did not have children. The famous model thought she had put an end to motherhood until she met her latest partner to date: restaurant owner Pascal Ramette, whom she separated from in 2014. Together, they became parents to a little boy named Giuliano in 2010 when Estelle Lefèbure was 44 years old. A late pregnancy that did not elicit the expected reaction from her surroundings.
At 44, while many see their children leave the nest, Estelle Lefèbure decided to follow her instincts and become a mother for the third time. But this announcement didn’t just bring smiles. In an interview with Paris Match, the former daughter-in-law of Johnny Hallyday revealed that some close ones had a surprising reaction. “I have many friends who said, ‘You are going back to diapers?'”, she said, now 59 years old. Despite external judgments, Estelle Lefèbure embraced her pregnancy with immense joy and no doubts. For her, this natural pregnancy was a gift from destiny, and she is grateful for her son, who is now 15 years old.
In the same interview, Estelle opened up about a long-held pain: her father’s absence at her wedding with David Hallyday. While the whole France celebrated their union, her father was battling illness, “almost unconscious in the hospital.” It was her grandfather who walked her down the aisle. Symbolically, her father passed away the day after the ceremony. She shared, “We thought he waited for another man to take my hand,” turning her beautiful day into a bittersweet memory.
